FAQ for Visitors
Welcome to Unity! We have put together a list of visitors’ frequently asked questions. We hope it gives you a better idea of what to expect during your visit with us.
What time are your Sunday services, and how long do they last?
Our Sunday services are at 10 a.m. and usually last about an hour and 10 minutes.
Is there child care or Sunday School?
We have a wonderful and growing Youth Education Department, with classes during service, every Sunday of the month. Please read our Youth Education page for more information.
Where do I park?
We have ample parking in the church lot, with handicap spaces near the door to the sanctuary. You may choose to drop off anyone needing assistance at our front entrance, and we will gladly greet and help you.
How should I dress?
We have no dress code. We are “San Diego casual.” Our congregation dresses in anything from suits to jeans.
What is your service like?
Our Sunday Celebration Service is uplifting with prayer, meditation, an inspiring talk and contemporary New Thought and original music in a wide variety of styles.
What is a “love offering”?
At Unity, our activities are supported by voluntary offerings, which we refer to as “love offerings.” The amount you choose to give is up to you. Unity Way Church is supported solely by the love offerings, gifts and tithes of the congregation.
How do I get to Unity Way?
Many people refer to our church as “the little church on the hill.” We are literally at the highest point in the area. We are also very secluded; our access road looks like an alley. You really have to know where we are to find us, so it’s not easy — but worth the effort! Many people comment on the wonderful energy and peace they feel when they come onto the property.
What if I have additional questions?
If you would like more information, please call the church office at 760-726-1224. Office hours are 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Wednesday through Friday. Or you may contact us online.
